Private Singapore Layover Tour

Private Singapore Layover Tour

Turn Your Singapore Layover Into A Private City Tour

Leave Changi Airport and explore Singapore with airport pickup, a private air-conditioned vehicle and your own licensed Singapore tourist guide.

Your available touring time is planned around your actual flight schedule, immigration, luggage, airport travel and the time needed to return to Changi. The aim is to use the time well rather than squeeze in the maximum number of stops.

Minimum 6-Hour Layover Airport Pickup & Return Private Vehicle Licensed Tourist Guide
A layover car tour still involves walking. The vehicle is used for airport transfers and travel between sightseeing areas. At each stop, we normally continue on foot to explore the neighbourhood, landmark or attraction with your guide.
Before Choosing A Tour

How Long Does My Singapore Layover Need To Be?

Your total layover time is not the same as your sightseeing time. Time is needed for immigration, luggage, travel between Changi Airport and the city, and your return to the airport before your onward flight.

1
Land Your flight arrives at Changi Airport
2
Clear Immigration Enter Singapore and collect luggage if required
3
Explore Singapore Your actual private sightseeing window
4
Return To Changi Travel back with the planned airport buffer
5
Onward Flight Continue your journey
Minimum 6-Hour Total Layover Required

Connections shorter than 6 hours are not accepted for airport layover tours. Your actual sightseeing time will be shorter after allowing for immigration, luggage, airport-city travel and your return to Changi.

Arriving after a long-haul flight?
Jet lag and travel fatigue can affect how much sightseeing feels enjoyable, particularly in Singapore’s heat and humidity. For long-haul arrivals, the 6-hour tour is generally a better starting point than trying to compress Singapore into a shorter sightseeing window. Longer touring can be considered when your connection, interests and energy level make it practical.

More Than Airport Layovers

Cruise Stopovers Pickup and return to your Singapore cruise terminal, planned around the ship’s schedule.
Early Arrivals Use the hours before hotel check-in for guided sightseeing instead of waiting with your luggage.
Late Departures Use your final hours in Singapore before travelling to Changi for your departure.

Why Choose A Private Layover Tour?

See Singapore Without Managing The Logistics Yourself

Airport To City

Meet your guide after clearing immigration and travel into Singapore in your private vehicle.

Time Managed Around Your Flight

Your route is planned around usable sightseeing time, travel between stops and the time needed for your return to Changi.

Pace That Can Respond To You

Walking time, stops and breaks can be adjusted where practical according to your interests, energy level and conditions on the day.

Walking During Your Layover Tour

The Vehicle Gets Us There. We Explore On Foot.

Marina Bay, heritage neighbourhoods, temples, markets and Gardens by the Bay involve walking once we arrive. The private vehicle reduces unnecessary walking between areas, but the sightseeing itself is not conducted entirely from inside the car. If mobility, heat or post-flight fatigue is a concern, mention it before the tour so it can be considered when planning the route and pace.

Layover Tour FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The practical questions that matter when your sightseeing time depends on an onward flight or cruise departure.

How long does my layover need to be?
A minimum total airport layover of 6 hours is required. Connections shorter than 6 hours are not accepted because time is needed for immigration, luggage, airport-city travel, sightseeing, the return journey and an appropriate buffer before the onward flight.

A 6-hour connection does not mean 6 hours of sightseeing. Your usable touring time depends on your actual flights, immigration, luggage and operating conditions on the day.

You can also use the Singapore Layover Itinerary Planner to estimate what may be practical.
Does the layover tour involve walking?
Yes. The private vehicle is used for airport transfers and travelling between different parts of Singapore. Once we reach a sightseeing area, we normally continue on foot to explore it properly. The amount of walking depends on the route. If mobility, heat or post-flight fatigue is a concern, please mention this when enquiring.
Is airport pickup and return included?
Yes. Singapore Layover Tours include Changi Airport pickup and return. Cruise stopovers can also include pickup and return to the relevant Singapore cruise terminal.
What happens to our luggage?
Luggage can normally travel with you in the vehicle. Luggage quantity affects practical passenger capacity, so please provide the number and approximate size of your bags when enquiring.
What if my arriving flight is delayed?
The remaining sightseeing window will be reassessed. Where practical, the route can be shortened or adjusted so that sufficient time remains for the onward journey. If the delay reduces the available connection below a safe practical window, the tour may no longer be able to proceed.
Can I customise the sightseeing route?
Yes, within the available time. Tell me which places or types of experiences interest you. The pace and time spent at stops can be adjusted during the tour according to your interests, energy level and conditions on the day. Flight timing and the return to Changi remain the priority.
Can we include local food?
Yes. A hawker centre or local food stop can be included when it fits the available sightseeing window. Food is normally purchased directly by guests.
Can we visit Gardens by the Bay?
The Supertree Grove can often be incorporated when the route and available time make it practical. Paid attractions require additional time and are generally better suited to longer sightseeing windows.
Are child seats available?
A child seat can be arranged on request, subject to availability. Please mention the child’s age when enquiring.
Can cruise passengers book this tour?
Yes. The tour can be adapted for cruise stopovers with pickup and return to the relevant Singapore cruise terminal. The route will be planned around the ship’s required return timing.
How many guests can join?
Prices shown are for a private group of up to 4 guests. Luggage can reduce practical passenger capacity. Groups of more than 4 guests require a larger vehicle, which can be arranged separately.
Can I add extra time?
Additional time may be possible subject to availability and your onward flight or cruise schedule. It should only be added when there is still sufficient time to protect the required return buffer.
Do I need to book in advance?
Advance booking is strongly recommended because guide, vehicle and timing availability all need to match your arrival and departure schedule.
